Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Loretta Hawkins Paquette, 85, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of services. Mrs. Paquette passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2009, at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born June 28, 1924, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Samuel J. Hawkins and Avo Smith Hawkins. She was a retired sales associate with Brose Electric in Livonia, Michigan. She was a member of the church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Finis, Louis, Nathan, and William H. (Bill) Hawkins; and 1 Sister: Jane Pryor. Survivors include 1 Son: Toby Keen and wife Kathy of Murfreesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Jo Ellen Qualls of Murfreesboro, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Amy Jo Monoghan of Bolingbrook, Illinois; 1 Sister: Heelan Barlow and husband Howard of Nashville, TN; Special Friends: Bessie Hunter, Toby and Settie Burnett; several nieces and nephews also survive.
