Funeral services for Amanda "Mandi" Carlisle Conway, 28, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Bilbrey Family Cemetery in the Whitleyville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., Friday from 1 P.M - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Conway passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at her parents' residence. She was born March 10, 1981, in Jackson County, TN, to Mark and Marie Anderson Carlisle. On July 28, 2001, she was married to Joseph Conway, who survives. She was an account manager, and a member of the Whitleyville Church of Christ. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and the Finance Club at TTU. She was also very active in Breast Cancer Awareness. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather: Leon Anderson; and her Paternal Grandparents: Harold and Jewel Smith Carlisle. Survivors include her Husband: Joseph Conway of Whitleyville, TN; 1 Son: Joseph Riley Conway of Whitleyville, TN; her Parents: Mark & Marie Anderson Carlisle of the Union Hill community of Clay County, TN; 5 Sisters: Melanie (Michael) Rainey of Whitleyville, TN, Molly Jewell (William) Mackey of Cookeville, TN, and Marki, Morgan, & McKenzie Carlisle, all of the Union Hill community of Clay County, TN; her Maternal Grandparents: Moline & W.C. Howell of Gainesboro, TN; her Paternal Grandmother: Pat Carlisle of the Union Hill community of Clay County, TN; her Father & Mother in-law: Harry & Hannalore Conway of Huntingdon, TN; 2 Nieces: Marissa & Mallorie Rainey; and 1 Nephew: Michael Paul Rainey, Jr. Bro.
