Funeral services for Mr. Alton D. Flatt, 63, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Friday, September 18, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. and on Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at his residence. He was born September 19, 1951, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Winfred D. Flatt and Betty Ann Dennis Flatt. He was retired from Twin Lakes Telephone Co., and a member of the Flynns Creek Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Great Granddaughter: Emorie Grace West. Survivors include 1 Son: Chris (Korynn) Flatt of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Melissa (Tim) Scott and Stephanie (Rickey) Combs, all of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Cody Jones, Adam (Kaitlyn) Jones, Lucas Reeder, Olivia Law, Summer Scott, Taylor West, Tyler (Cadey) West, Jessa Flatt, and Hunter Ellis; and 3 Great Grandchildren: Camden Ferguson, Kenzie Jones, and Carter West.
