Alma Jean Hix

Alma Jean Hix, 85, of Whitleyville, TN, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center. The family has chosen cremation, with interment at a later time at John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery. No visitation or services will be held at this time. She was born August 23, 1936, in Jackson County, TN, to the late William Fred Hix and Lillie Denton Hix. She worked as a cashier at Gainesboro Foodtown, and was a member of the Whitleyville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Brothers: Fred Hix, Jr., Earl E. Hix, Leamon Hix, Eldon Hix, and William Robert Hix; 3 Sisters: Ova Flatt, Minnie Stafford, and Dorothy Sadler; and 1 Nephew: Terry Sadler. Survivors include 1 Nephew: Kevin Hix; 4 Nieces: June Carver, Lois Harp, Doris Long, and Judy Flatt; and 1 Sister-in-Law: Dorothy Hix. Cemetery John L.
