Allon C. Reeder

Funeral services for Mr. Allon C. Reeder, 68, of Hilham, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Stacy Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2011, at his residence. He was born January 31, 1943, in Overton County, TN, to the late Thadeous Reeder and Ovis Reeder. On October 8, 1968, he was married to Mary Helen Stacy Reeder, who survives. He was an auto glass technician, and a member of the Poston's Chapel Community Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Jo Ellen Davenport; and 1 Brother: Comer Dennis Reeder. Survivors include his Wife: Mary Helen Stacy Reeder of Hilham, TN; 3 Sons: Allon C. (Tina) Reeder, Jr. of Monroe, TN, Jeffery (Shannon) Stacy of Lebanon, TN, and Charles (Shay) Ridner of Hilham, TN; 1 Daughter: Betty (Tom) Shackleton of Lebanon, TN; 3 Brothers: Kenneth (Elizabeth) Reeder of Nashville, TN, Arvil Reeder of Hilham, TN, and Johnny (Mary Jo) Reeder of Hartsville, TN; 12 Grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchildren.
