Funeral services for Mrs. Aline Vickers Birdwell, 78, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Vickers Cemetery on Shepardsville Hwy. in Bloomington Springs, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 8 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at her residence. She was born March 28, 1939, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Curtis Lee Vickers and Molly Vickers. She was a garment factory worker, and attended Sonlight Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: William Franklin Holland; 1 Daughter: Kim Bowman; 1 Grandson: Brandon Lee LaFever; and 1 Brother: Shirley Vickers. Survivors include 3 Daughters: Penny (Steven) Vance of Bloomington Springs, TN, Donna (James) White of Cookeville, TN, Vickie (Randy) Mahan of Cookeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Matthew Richardson, Brittany Walker, Kendra Kilmon, and Ashley Krischel; 1 Great Grandchild: Alicia Richardson; 2 Brothers: Buddy Vickers of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Truman Vickers of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Barbara Whellus of FL, and Christine Mason of Bloomington Springs, TN.
