Aline Crossman

Aline Crossman was born January 31, 1946, in Cookeville TN and she passed away at her residence in the  Pippin Community of Putnam County on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at the age of 78.

She was the daughter of Lester Bee Flatt and Mary Martha Dyer Flatt. She was a factory worker and also worked at Williams Wholesale Electrical selling lights. She was a member of the Pippin Church of Christ where she was married to Wayne Merle Crossman on July 27, 1963, for a total of 61 years of marriage. She also was a member of the Freewill Church of Christ before moving to Pippin Church of Christ.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Darren Keith Crossman, sister, Jewell Hall and brother, Lewis Flatt.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Crossman of Cookeville; son Kenny (April) Crossman of Cookeville; brother, Howard Wesley Flatt of Cookeville; grandchildren, Brandon (Elizabeth) Crossman of Cookeville, Olivia (Seth) Tiebout of Cookeville, Dakota (Rachael) Crossman of Gainesboro and Emily Crossman of Cookeville; great grandchildren, Braxton Crossman, Brooks Crossman, Seth James "SJ" Tiebout all of Cookeville. Hosts of nieces and nephews also survive along with many friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 29, 2024, 3-7 pm and again on Monday, 9 am to 1 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Monday, December 30, 2024 in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Crossman and Bro. Randy Bybee officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made St. Jude Children's Hospital by contacting the funeral home.
