Alice Beechboard Hawkins

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Beechboard Hawkins, 74, of Hilham, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maxwell Chapel Cemetery in Hilham, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born June 2, 1938, in Wilson County, TN, to the late Malcolm Spivey and Nannie B. Spivey. She was married to Douglas Hawkins, who survives. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her First Husband: Elzo Beechboard; 1 Granddaughter: Natalie Strong; 4 Brothers: Billy, Dale, George, and James Spivey; and 1 Sister: Martha Spivey. Survivors include her Husband: Douglas Hawkins of Hilham, TN; 2 Sons: Billy Beechboard and Wayne Beechboard, both of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Wanda (Carl) Lowe of Livingston, TN, and Sue Strong and Jackie Beechboard, both of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Step-Children: Doug Hawkins, Jr., Jackie Hill, and Jennifer Brown; 3 Grandchildren: Alison Loftis, Brock Strong, and Olivia Strong; 2 Brothers: Jerry (Sue) Spivey of Rock Island, TN, and Robert Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Sisters: Thelma Siboloski of Imlay City, MI, Edna (Joe) Scantland of Gainesboro, TN, Dorothy (Gary) Kemp of Maryville, TN, and Mildred (Doug) Bozek of Imlay City, MI; 11 Step-grandchildren; and 5 Step-great grandchildren.
