Funeral services for Mrs. Addie B. Hammock Haney, 82, of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, August 14, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Haney passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2005, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was born October 6, 1922, in Jackson County to the late Ridley D. Hammock and Nevada Haney Hammock. She was married to the late Virgil Lee Haney, who passed away on May 3, 1971. Mrs. Haney was a homemaker, and a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 Sons: Millis, Bobby, and Jessie Haney; 7 Brothers: Sammy, Cordell, William Lee, George, John, P.J., and Herman Hammock; and 5 Sisters: Dee Meadows, Lou Crabtree, Sarah Meadows, Susie Avo Thomas, and Lola C. Hammock. Survivors include 2 Sons: Willis "Buddy" Haney and David Haney both of Cookeville, TN; 4 Daughters: Reba Taylor and Geneva Smallwood, both of Cookeville, TN, and Edna Fox and Juanita Rhoten, both of Bloomington Springs, TN; 12 Grandchildren: Christopher Rhoten, Gracie Rhoten, Brandy Howard, Herbert Fox, Kimberly Quesenberry, Phillip Taylor, Audrey York, Danny Taylor, Timmy Taylor, Michael Taylor, Junior Haney, and Sherman Haney; and 10 Great- Grandchildren: Nathan Quesenberry, Bethany Howard, Dezrick Howard, Jonathan Haney, Addie York, John Curtis York, Bethanie Taylor, Brooklyn Thompson, Tylar Thompson, and Seth Thompson. Bro. Doyle Wilmoth will officiate at the services.
