Funeral services for Aaron Rabbit Tayse, 89, of Cookeville, TN, will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 3 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Sunday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 12, 1932, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Elijah Tayse and Gusty Lee Dyer Tayse. On November 26, 1978, he was married to Joyce Edwina Denson Tayse, who survives. He worked as an auto mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Ellen Marie Leonard; his brothers, and sisters. Survivors include his Wife: Joyce Edwina Denson Tayse of Cookeville, TN; Sons: Russell Tayse of Cookeville, TN, and Arvil Tayse of Sparta, TN; Daughters: Barbara Sue Cherry of Cookeville, TN, Lora Martin of Cookeville, TN, and Heather Tayse of Cookeville, TN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Bro. Bobby Floyd will officiate at the services.
