Funeral services for Mr. Aaron L. Lynn, 72, of the Burristown community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., Tuesday from 12 Noon - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Lynn passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born May 5, 1936, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Sanford and Sarah Clark Lynn. On November 17, 1956, he was married to Ann Lynn, who survives. He was retired from Eaton Corporation of Gainesboro, TN. He was a member of the Burristown Church of Christ, and a former circuit court clerk of Jackson County. He was also an auxiliary policeman and constable. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: James Edward, Ray Clark, and Ace L. Lynn; and 1 Sister: Diana Lynn. Survivors include his Wife: Ann Lynn of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Sons: Jackie (Sandy Tippit) Lynn, Johnny (Helen) Lynn, and Jerry (Wanda) Lynn, all of Gainesboro, TN, and Jeff (Linda) Lynn of the North Springs community of Jackson County, TN; 8 Grandchildren: Bill, Eric, Matthew, Keisha, Jarred, Jordan, Justus, and Jason Lynn and his wife, April; 1 Great- Grandchild: Allison Lynn; 3 Brothers: Sanford David Lynn of Gainesboro, TN, Alvin Lynn of Lebanon, TN, and Roy Lynn of Gallatin, TN; and 5 Sisters: Dorothy Shepard of Pegram, TN, Donnetta Shepard of Nashville, TN, Katherine Lanette and Brenda Mitchell, both of Gallatin, TN, and Linda Law of Westmoreland, TN.
