Aaron Clifford Flatt

Funeral services for Mr. Aaron Clifford Flatt, 77, of Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, December 5, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Double Springs Cemetery in the Double Springs community of Putnam County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Flatt passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born February 15, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jace and Grace Flatt. On August 4, 1953, he was married to Thelma Jewell Flatt, who survives. He was a welder and farmer. He was the oldest of nine siblings, and a member of the Double Springs Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Atha Darwin Flatt and Paul Flatt; and twin sisters. Survivors include his Wife: Thelma Jewell Flatt of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Son: Aaron Dale (Judy) Flatt of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Daughter: Linda Faye (Don) Randolph of Cookeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Sean Flatt and fianc, Hillary Pate, Sarah Randolph, Kasey (John) Nichols, and Kayla Flatt; 2 Brothers: Huston Flatt of Bloomington Springs, TN; and Terry Flatt of Chattanooga, TN; and 2 Sisters: Anna Faye Allen of Cookeville, TN; and Reba Sue (David) Rector of Cookeville, TN.
