Aaron "Blackie" Bilbrey

Funeral services for Mr. Aaron "Blackie" Bilbrey, 69, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, December 20, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Bilbrey Cemetery in Whitleyville. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10 A.M. until 8 P. M. and Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Bilbrey passed away on Friday, December 17, 2004, at Clay County Manor in Celina, Tennessee. He was born August 30, 1935, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Ab and Lulu Strode Bilbrey. Mr. Bilbrey was a carpenter and restaurant employee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Lloyd Bilbrey, James N. "Boxer" Bilbrey, and Sid Bilbrey; 1 Sister: Catherine Butler; and 1 Son: Frank Aaron Bilbrey. Survivors include 2 Sons: Joey and Jeff Bilbrey, both of Chicago, Illinois; 1 Granddaughter; and 4 Sisters: Joan Dailey of Livingston, TN, Moline Howell of Gainesboro, TN, Elizabeth Crawford of Lebanon, TN, and Ozina Smith of Radford, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
