A V Meadows

AV Haney Meadows was born on January 26,1938, in Jackson County, TN and passed away at the Waters of Gainesboro on Wednesday, July 2 ,2025, at the age of 87.

AV was the daughter of Lizzie Jane Chaffin Haney and Johnny Whad Haney. AV emphasized the true meaning of family and faith, where she was a devoted Chistian and member of the Center Grove Church of Christ and Bloomington Springs Church of Christ. She cherished memories with her family at her and Braxton house in Bloomington Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Baxton Meadows; brothers: Gene Haney, Hullon Haney, Bobby Haney, and Glenous Haney; sisters: Louise Vickers, Doylene Rodgers, and Ida Wheeler.

Survived by her son, Paul (Judy) Meadows of Bloomington Springs TN; Brother: David “Cobb” Haney of Gainesboro, TN; Grandchildren: Travis Meadows of Nashville, TN, Shawn (Beth) Meadows of Murfreesboro, TN; great grandchildren: Annsley and Everett Meadows. Numerous family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Saturday July 5, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 2 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will be following at Young Cemetery.
